No voy a hablar de H. P. Lovecraft, que seguramente se han vertido ríos de tinta sobre el tema. En este blog mi intención es compilar diversa información, a modo de hobbie y compartirla con cualquier interesado en Los mitos de Cthulhu. Intentaré acercarme a todas las bandas que de alguna manera han sido influenciadas por el genio de Providence o por sus seguidores, aunque esto pueda ser una tarea de dimensiones faraónicas. Admito sugerencias...
Iron Maiden no hace referencia directa a los Mitos en ninguna de sus canciones. Solamente en esta portada se puede leer el famoso pareado, que aparece por vez primera en el relato La Ciudad Sin Nombre (1921), y que traducido más o menos es:
«Que no está muerto lo que yace eternamente,
y con los eones extraños incluso la muerte puede morir»
